GreenTree is turning 55 this year and we are excited to celebrate with all of you! That’s right. It may be hard to believe, but it’s really been 55 years since the Co-op was founded as a small buying club. (Learn more about our history here.) Since then we have evolved over and over again to better meet the community’s needs; providing natural foods, local produce, and community education. Here at the Co-op you can explore new products, meet local vendors, special order cases of your favorite items, and so much more! From member’s basements to a tiny storefront to our own building, and, finally, to the custom built space we occupy today – community has always been at the center of what we do. And that feels like something worth celebrating!
We’ll be holding our party from 7am-9pm on Saturday, March 22nd right here at GreenTree. (That’s 410 W Broadway street in downtown Mt. Pleasant if you haven’t visited since our big move.) Stay tuned to be the first to know about all of the samples, specials, and birthday shenanigans we have planned!
