We’re in the midst of pumpkin season! While I think we can all agree that pumpkin pie is a classic around this time of year, there are many other ways to use the delightful blend known as pumpkin pie spice! This blend typically contains cinnamon, ginger, cloves, and nutmeg. Why not branch out and experiment with some other uses? You can wow family and friends with your culinary prowess this pumpkin season!
Easy Pumpkin Pie Smoothie
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1 cup Greek Yogurt (plain or vanilla)
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 3 Tbsp Hemp seeds (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. For a sweeter smoothie, use vanilla yogurt and add honey to taste. Makes two servings.
