Spent a busy morning running errands, cooking, or just generally accomplishing everything under the sun but still have to look fabulous without stopping for a shower? Make a batch of Dry Shampoo!

Base: 2 Tbsp cornstarch or arrowroot powder

3 drops lavender oil (or other scent)

For darker hair: Add small amounts of cocoa powder to the base until shade more closely matches your hair color. (Tip: Don’t use more than 2 tsp.)

For red hair: Add small amounts of cinnamon to the base until shade is similar to your hair color. (Tip: Don’t use cinnamon if you have sensitive skin or will be spending a lot of time in the sun.)

Sprinkle on a small amount or use a cosmetic brush to apply on roots near your face and where your hair parts. Comb through with a brush or your fingers until power is no longer visible.
