I want to go where everybody knows my name – well, that place is GreenTree Co-op my friends! I am Debbie Peterson. I am an Owner of 20 years and a member of the Board of Directors. GreenTree, aka “The Co-op” offers so very many products that are healthy for our community, which is something to be grateful for. However, there are many other reasons to shop at the Co-op. Most notably the amazing staff. Shopping at GreenTree is very enjoyable on its own merit, however the GreenTree staff goes above and beyond to promote and create a friendly community environment for all Owners and shoppers.
When GreenTree was at the old location on Franklin street, staff was also kind, helpful and super knowledgeable, which carried over to the new location. Creating a sense of community is not an
easy task. It takes talent, dedication and kindness as well as love for the work you do. GreenTree excels at this because staff from the top down understand and live the mission and goals, but most importantly, it is evident that GreenTree staff loves what they do and where they work.
If you were able to attend the Annual Owner Meeting in May you had the opportunity be a part of the GreenTree community. The meeting highlighted the 2023 year end report, Board of Directors election results, beans for bags recipients, live music, and a potluck. Here are the results:

The gathering was relaxing and informative and the food was delicious. GreenTree has an Owner meeting yearly in in the spring, so if you missed it this year you can look forward to attending next year’s meeting.
