In 2012 we put up a little canopy in front of the Co-op and invited our Owners to bring their extra plants to swap and share. This will be our 4th Annual Swap, and so far, it’s been bigger and better every year. Last year, we had more than 40 different types of plants!
This year the swap falls on Saturday, June 13th. You are cordially invited to bring your extra starters, houseplants, bulbs, and saplings and go home with something new! Native plants that transplant well are also a welcome addition. Don’t have plants? That’s ok too, come and find something green to liven up your home, yard, or garden. If you have way too many plants, and need to make some space, it’s fine to leave plants for others without grabbing any yourself. You are also welcome to bring seeds to share, whether you collected them yourself, or just have an extra 1/2 packet from that new melon variety you decided to try.
Plant drop off begins at 11am. If you need to bring things by earlier, please call ahead (989-772-3221) so we can make sure to have someone on hand to note down the identity of your contributions.
